The Australian Jumps Racing Association (AJRA) is the peak representative body for jumps racing in Victoria, the only state in Australia where the discipline is conducted. We work in close partnership with Racing Victoria, Country Racing Victoria, Jumps Racing Clubs, licensed participants and industry stakeholders to support the safe, responsible and sustainable delivery of Victorian jumps racing.

We aim to support and assist Racing Victoria in the operation of the jumps racing program while contributing to continuous improvement and strengthening the sport’s social licence. We actively support and advocate for Victorian jumps racing clubs, recognising their critical role in delivering high-quality race meetings and strong community engagement.

Our Mission

• To support and assist Racing Victoria in the operations & improvements in social licence for Victorian Jumps Racing.
• To engage a passionate equine community including trainers, jockeys, owners, members and stakeholders.
• To increase the amount of horses involved and advocate the quality of horsemanship skills and equine welfare, before, during and after jumps racing.

AJRA is committed to engaging a passionate equine community including trainers, jockeys, owners, members, clubs and stakeholders. We also work to increase the number of horses participating in jumps racing and to promote high standards of horsemanship and equine welfare before, during and after competition. Safety, integrity and the wellbeing of horses and participants are central to everything we do.

Our committee is comprised of experienced industry representatives who provide strategic leadership and governance for the Association.
